An American citizen, resident in Lagos, requires an occasional blood transfusion; he has cancer and is currently awaiting a bone marrow transplant in the US. As his business requires him to be in Nigeria, he has to travel to Europe each time he needs a transfusion.

As part of its charitable activities, BCF agreed to provide him with the blood he needs prior to his operation.
